When was the last time your "healthy" self visited the doctor? During most office visits, a doctor evaluates you when you have a health issue, but by then it is too late. The chronic condition is fully established and identifying the root cause is near impossible. Furthermore, the clinical tests (heartrate, bloodwork, BMI) doctors use to determine your health are too simplistic and do not include many critical biomarkers that influence human health.
60% of Americans have at least one chronic health condition which is a 700% increase from 1935 to 2020. Current Western diets (refined sugars, ultra processed foods) and lifestyle habits (high stress, sleep deprivation) are negatively impacting our health and longevity. It is your responsibility to recognize subtle internal changes and report them to the doctor for further investigation. We need a detailed internal check-up that identifies changes in our longevity health prior to the presentation of clinical symptoms and chronic disease.
Chronic diseases often require ongoing medical treatment and management, and they can significantly impact a person's quality of life. Many chronic diseases can be prevented or controlled through lifestyle changes such as eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and not smoking. In addition, early detection and treatment can help prevent the progression of chronic diseases and reduce the risk of serious complications.
